Are you running training calls or zooms for your team?

From now on, I want you to think about these in a completely different way!

Training calls are a great tool to help you close prospects into your business.

Whether your training zooms are weekly or monthly, these are excellent opportunities for you to highlight your prospecting system, your team’s culture, and also demonstrate how you help people create successful results. 

When your prospects see what happens after they join, it helps alleviate the anxiety and the uncertainty around them saying ‘yes’ to the business opportunity.

Is there someone on your team that you call a ‘leader’…however, you’re also frustrated with that person because they are not showing up as a leader and helping others succeed? 

Here’s a word of warning: Be very careful about who you call a ‘leader’ in your business.

Because someone in your team might be in a position of leadership: they can recruit people, they are good at attraction marketing, they are a top producer… BUT, you just can't get them to lead their team.

The problem is you are calling that person something they are not.

Building a team and leading a team are two very different things.

Understand that leadership is not determined by money or rank. It's demonstrated every day through example.

LEADERSHIP is action oriented. It is something that is earned every day.

Here’s the thing - the true value of a leader is measured through his or her ability to help other people.

Are you dealing with “Network Marketing Haters” in your life?  Even worse, are some of them your own family and friends? 

If ‘yes’, then how are you responding to them?

Is it by shrinking back and making yourself and your business ‘smaller’ so they have less to hate?

I need you to understand right now that their snide comments and unsupportive behavior isn’t the real issue here.   

The real issue is that you went into this business with the expectation that certain people would support you.  You have a predefined story in your head about what exactly people will say and act towards you and your new business. 

And when those expectations don’t become a reality, it stops you in your tracks.

Did you know there are TWO Green Light Stories that you must have in your business in order to be successful?

They are:

  1. The story that you tell yourself about yourself (Core Story), and…
  2. The story about who you are and what you do in your business

The big problem I see often, though, is that most of us are stuck in a red light story about ourselves.  Instead of a green light story, we tell ourselves that we’re not good enough, not worthy, and not capable.

As a result, when it comes to your business, you lead with FEAR.  And instead of building a team, you end up concentrating on SALES and focusing on your own personal agenda.

I want you to understand that your business must give you a sense of purpose and meaning.

Again, network marketing isn’t a sales business. It’s a business of service.

It’s about solving problems and transforming people’s lives.

In this episode, I’ll share with you the steps in creating a green light core story and what you actually do through your business, how to shift from sales to service in your business, and the powerful impact of leading from a place of LOVE and SERVICE.
