There’s a question that gets asked over and over in our profession that I have an issue with.

“What is your WHY?”

But do you really need to know your WHY to be successful?

The answer: NO.

So I’m suggesting this instead --

Quit asking prospects and new team members, “What's your WHY?”

Instead, ask them, “What is the problem that you want to solve?”

We need to make that shift from a SALES mindset to a SERVICE mindset.

Rather than thinking just about making money, get your team members to begin thinking like a paid problem solver.

I know your team members will be more excited to share solutions to problems than the features, facts, and figures of your product.

In this Biz Tip Friday, I’ll share with why you don’t need to know your WHY to be successful and how to get your people to think like a paid problem solver.

How do you train your new team members?  Is it based on how much money they want to earn?  Or how much time they want to dedicate to their business?

I am not saying it’s wrong to ask new people, “How much money do you want to make?”

But this traditional approach of onboarding is not enough to set meaningful goals for your recruits.

In fact, if that's what you're asking people then you are not really serving them in their business.

I want you to understand that financial goals becomes meaningful only when they are tied to the actual needs of your new team member.

In this episode, I’ll share with you how to set meaningful goals for your prospects, and how to build a great onboarding system for your recruits and team members.

Are your personal relationships getting in the way of you leading your team?

Personal relationships are one of the BIGGEST obstacles in building a successful and thriving team.

I like to call it the ‘relational roadblock.’

We highly value our friendships and relationships; however, if you value friendship over leadership then you’re actually becoming a ‘fake friend.’

I want you to understand that friendship and leadership are NOT mutually exclusive.

Leading is not sacrificing friendships.

It is actually going to the next level and becoming a ‘real friend’ to your team members.

In this podcast episode, I’ll teach you what it takes to be a ‘real friend’ and how to lead your team with accountability, without the fear of sacrificing friendships.

Have you ever had a potential customer struggle with the COST of your products?

And then you begin worrying about asking people to buy because of the money they would need to spend, especially now that people are just starting to recover financially from the pandemic?

Here’s the main reason WHY you’re worried -- YOU are focused on the PRICE.

The secret to getting customers does NOT rely on price. What really matters is the perceived VALUE.

When your customer begin seeing your products as a solution to their problems instead of just a replaceable product, the price becomes completely irrelevant to their decision to purchase.

In this episode, I’ll share with you how you can create immense value in what you're offering so that the cost of your product becomes irrelevant to all of your prospective customers!

Are you struggling in getting customers?  Or when you do have a customer, are you creating lifelong clients?

If not, it’s probably because of one thing – you’re solely focused on just MAKING the SALE.

In your mind, the finish line looks like this – getting people to buy, and then moving on, looking for the next ‘new customer.’

You are not working with people in way that actually turns them into a lifelong client.

Here’s the truth - the lifeblood of your business isn't about how many customers you get.

It’s about how happy and satisfied are they in your business.

In this Biz Tip Friday, I’ll teach you how to stop focusing on making sales and start focusing on getting people the results and transformation they are seeking, so you can actually create a lifelong business.

How many times have you been told that success on social media is ALL about engagement?

And so you spend SO MUCH TIME stressing about content, debating on what to post, and working so hard to grow your social media accounts with more followers.

Are these things good to do?  Yes.  However, you need something MORE if you truly want to create content that actually works for you.  And when I say ‘working,’ I mean something more than just likes and followers.

Please understand - engagement does not matter unless you’re talking to the RIGHT people with the RIGHT messaging.

In this episode, I'll share with you some of my secrets to creating perfect content that connects with the RIGHT people, about the RIGHT things — so you get more sales and recruits (not just a bunch of likes!)

The right people – both customers and business partners - are right in front of you every, single day.

But, you’re too busy imagining what they would say to you – sometimes even having a full-blown conversation inside your head with them! – that when it’s time to talk to a prospect in real life, you clam up and can’t get a single word out of your mouth!

But the good news is: there’s a really simple approach you can take that can alleviate the stress of trying to figure out what to say to your prospects.

You ask them questions.

In this week’s podcast episode, I’m teaching you how you can identify the right people for your business and how you can create more value by asking your prospects the right questions at the right time.

In this 36-minute episode you’ll learn:

---> The benefits to asking the right questions to your prospects

---> The importance of shifting from sales to service

---> The 4 phases of a prospecting conversation

---> How to develop and identify needs

---> The 4 types of questions to ask

---> How to practice need-payoff questions
