I hear this from our LLA students all of the time….

“I feel so stuck in my business right now… I don’t know what to do!”

But, really, this is just an excuse. 

“Being stuck” becomes a safety net for them to not face their fears and take the necessary action.

And this becomes a default setting called the ‘STAY STUCK cycle’ - repeating the same negative results over and over again.

I bet a lot of you can relate to this, and maybe you feel this way right now in your own business.

In this episode, I want to give you all some ‘tough love’ and help you understand exactly WHY you feel stuck.

When it comes to training new team members, the #1 mistake that I see leaders make is overwhelming them with too much information.

We spend hours and hours of time and energy training new people about the business.

We explain the products, the compensation plan, the bonuses, the car program….

And in the process, we make the business seem like it is so much more complicated than it actually is.

And as a result, our team members quit, without even taking the first step towards creating results.

And having a service mindset means adding value to someone's life by helping them solve a problem.

I want you to understand that people do not buy products. They buy SOLUTIONS to their problems.

However, a lot of people in our profession do fully understand the problem their product solves.

I used to struggle SO MUCH with reaching my goals and was constantly agonizing about why it was taking SO LONG to reach them.

We tend to believe that once we hit a certain goal, rank, or income level, our lives will instantly transform into something better.

Here’s the truth… There is no level of success that will ever make you feel better about yourself.

In my case, after I hit the big goal and finally making money, I was just as miserable.

I still felt like I wasn't good enough.

Here’s the thing - impatience is not the root cause, it is a symptom of the problem – SELF-WORTH.

They need to start shifting from having an employee mindset, meaning trading hours for dollars, into what I call the entrepreneurial mindset, where they leverage time and passive income happens.

But in order to do that, it’s not just about having systems in place.

The final missing piece is YOU.

Today’s episode is inspired from a coaching session on Clubhouse with Melissa.

During our chat, we were in the process of uncovering her red light core story, and she shared a really powerful analogy with me.

Melissa mentioned that identifying her Red Light Core Story - her past, not being good enough and feelings of unworthiness - felt like she had ripped out a huge weed in a garden, leaving a gaping hole.

She knew that she needed to plant a flower in the hole’s place, but she had absolutely no idea how to do that.

I told her that the process doesn’t work by replacing the weed with a fully grown flower.

Instead, you have to recognize that a SEED of GREATNESS lies in that same hole.  It’s just been buried by the weed that has grown over time.

It’s been the limitations you’ve placed upon YOURSELF by your Red Light Core Story (the weed) that’s kept the seed from blooming.

Tune in as I share with you this really powerful analogy, how to cultivate the seed of greatness, and why faith is essential in tending your garden (your life).
